| Harvest View Stables is a friendly, family-oriented riding and boarding facility adjacent to the PA State Gamelands between Elizabethtown and Mount Gretna. Husband and wife owners, Dave Garber and Cindy Gilbert live on the property, formerly known as BarKay Stables. A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and a horse person since childhood, Cindy manages the stable and the lesson program. In the fall and winter months, she fox hunts with The Beaufort Hunt in Harrisburg. Cindy and Dave serve on the advisory board of the Lost & Found Horse Rescue. Our stable offers spacious box stalls and four large pastures with newly-installed horse-safe fencing that provide extensive turn-out for our horses. Our lesson program accommodates all levels and goals, and students choose from private or small group lessons. We offer instruction in hunter seat riding and dressage with focus on eventing. |
