On Tuesday afternoon, Cindy and Lauren took Patrick and James to Stonewood Farms in Dover for a
clinic with eventer Sally Cousins. Sally is a very well-known and well-respected event rider, who,
according to Mike Plumb is, "A natural, very talented rider." He adds that she still has that talent, but has
added technique and fundamentals. "She is a real go-getter. I can't help but be impressed when I see
her ride."
We worked on stadium jumping, and Sally helped us with leg position, upper body position, balance
and turning. We accomplished a lot in a very short time, and we look forward to riding with her again.
