Special Dark
Delight is a dark bay,
Thoroughbred gelding. He's
about 16 hands, drop-dead
gorgeous, a beautiful mover,
and extremely friendly.
Unbroke when we bought him
in July, 2003, Delight spent six
weeks in training at Tranquillity
Manor Farms in Maryland.
We've continued his schooling,
and he's coming along
wonderfully. He has now fox
hunted regularly for several
seasons, and really seemed to
enjoy it. He has shown
successfully and represented
The Beaufort Hunt at Hunt Night
in Harrisburg during the
Pennsylvania National Horse
Show in October, 2004. In 2008
he began his eventing career in
earnest after beginning his
training with Sally Cousins.
Believe it or not, we pulled this
lovely boy out of the meat pen
at New Holland, where he sold
for slaughter for a board bill.
We are "Delighted" to have him
here where he's safe and
