| York Country Day Benefit Horse Show '06 |
It was a marathon of a horse show day for us, as we departed HVS at 5:30 a.m. and
didn't return home till nearly 9 p.m. But what fun we had! Special congrats to Lauren
and James who were Reserve Champion Foxcub Field Hunters in their first time
showing. All HVS students returned home with ribbons and had a great day showing
in two rings and the outside course. Lauren and Lexi won third place in the 2' pairs
and nailed their last jump!
Maria and Ziggy did a great job in the Beginner Hunter Division...Zig's first time out
showing over jumps bigger than cross rails.
Billy and Calvin had a blast showing Calvin in the Junior Field Hunter Division on the
outside course. He was most proud of the third place ribbon they won in a class of
14 horses. Not bad for his first time showing on the outside course!

Our horse and rider combos included: Allie & Sky, Anna & Dotz, Billy & Calvin, Eric &
Easy, Jen & BooBoo, Jerre & Scooter, Jesse & Dex, Lauren & James, Lexi & Nosey,
Maria & Ziggy, and Valerie & Sully (who had a blast in the Master's Class).
Thanks to everyone, riders, grooms, parents, for making this day such fun. And
special thanks to Nichole for being our braider and Ziggy schooler!
