Who we are...
Harvest View Stables is a friendly, family-oriented riding and boarding facility adjacent to the PA State Game Lands between Elizabethtown and Mount Gretna, just a few minutes from Hershey. Husband and wife owners, Dave Garber and Cindy Gilbert live on the property, along with their Welsh Corgi, Banjo, Bernese Mountain Dog, Luxe, Miniature Dachshund, Rosie, and house cat, Sookie. A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and a horse person since childhood, Cindy manages the stable and the lesson program. In the summer, you'll usually find Dave, a graduate of the University of Denver and retired Crowley Foods Marketing Manager, on the mower unless he's riding his Harley or out hiking with the dogs.
Along with riding in our indoor and outdoor arenas, our boarders and students enjoy riding through scenic countryside. Our stable offers spacious box stalls and large pastures with horse-safe fencing that provides extensive turn-out for our horses.
Our lesson program accommodates all levels and goals, and students choose from private or small group lessons. We offer instruction in hunt seat riding and dressage with focus on eventing and schedule regular clinics with upper-level event and dressage riders.
