My passion is empowering, supportive teaching and training based in trust and classical principles of dressage and eventing. My commitment is to help you create a partnership that allows you and your horse to reach your highest potential. My gift is communication, gleaned from a lifetime of studying learning styles, biomechanics, alternative techniques, successful competition, confidence coaching, and—always—listening to the horses.
I once had a dream of riding on the US Equestrian Team, and I succeeded against great odds: I took The Gray Goose from a rebellious five-year-old to international success. We rode on the Team from 1980 to 1986, we won individual and team bronze medals at the 1982 World Championship, and we won Rolex.
In 2012, Gray was inducted into the US Eventing Hall of Fame, and our partnership became the stuff of legend.
Lessons with Kim are $130. Please add $10 if using a lesson horse. Kim's students may audit at no charge. $15 for all others.
