We've been busy with all sorts of fun things, and I've been a bit remiss about updating our blog, so I'll post a few highlights. This spring we improved the footing in our outdoor by adding some masonry sand to the existing base. This has made it much cushier for the ponies, and the next step will be to add some magnesium chloride to help with the dust. We've opened up the jump field for lessons and schooling, and the next thing on the agenda will be to arrange for a get-together for some jump painting. Some of the fences need some small repairs, and others just need a coat of paint, so stay tuned for the plan. |
We've had some outings to some new-to-us horse shows, the first one being a jumper show at EZGO Stables. We liked it so much that we're going back for an event derby this weekend. We also did jumpers at Windswept Stables in Oley, and we'll definitely add them to our list of must-go-to shows.
